It’s summertime! For some SLPs that means taking a break from the daily grind but for others it’s just the same ol’ schedule, sometimes with more cancellations and vacations packed in there. Whether this is a chill time of year for you or it’s as busy as ever, I hope you can enjoy these themed ideas! Even as a school SLP, these activities may be a great way to end the year in May OR start off the year in August.
I love the idea of incorporating hands on fun with these activities below. These activities just scream sand and water. If you’re brave enough, try pairing them with a sensory bin! We have a great summer sensory bin resource here.
