BUg Speech, Language, & Feeding Therapy

Ideas, Activities, freebies & more for Spring Day therapy for April

Hey, hey, it’s almost MAY! For us Red Rose Speechies we shift from spring flowers to all things bugs! Now you might be thinking, eww, but just know that they can go one of two ways in your therapy room. Either your kids think they’re the cutest little things ever, or they’re immediately like “NOPE, that’s gross!” We like to lean into both—making bugs cute, colorful, and fun for our hesitant kiddos, while still leaving a little room for the silly, “eww!” moments for the ones who love it. Either way, bugs are such a fun, engaging theme that kids get into fast—which means more opportunities for meaningful speech, language, and even feeding goals. 🐞

Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom—there’s a BIG freebie waiting for you to help streamline your spring planning and make targeting your speech, language, and feeding goals even easier this season! 🐞🐛
