Ideas, Activities, freebies & more for Winter themed therapy

It’s time for winter speech therapy planning and you’re looking for fun, no-prep, quick (and some free??) activities to add to your speech lesson plan… yes? We got you. It’s time for snowmen, penguins, snow ball fights, winter clothing, and more. Winter themed therapy has so many opportunities for new vocabulary, conversations, and concepts that don’t come up during other parts of the year.

During my time as an SLP, I’ve seen so many benefits of themed therapy. Not only is it fun and engaging, it also helps build skills and concepts you may not naturally think of targeting. We have listed out our activities here for speech, language, feeding, and more to keep your therapy impactful and no-prep. Scroll to the bottom for a GREAT freebie!
